The name of this website is taken from a verse of the Bible in Acts, which talks about a group of people who '...searched out the scriptures' to check up on what the Apostle Paul had told them to see whether he (and the Person he spoke about) was the real deal.

This was a great thing to do then, and it's still a great thing to do now, to search out the Bible for yourself to confirm anything you hear or read.

The Bible is God's Word- and everything should be checked or compared to this infallible source. We hope this website to present some useful pages that will help you in your walk with God on your Christian pathway!

On this website you won't see many direct quotes from the Bible, rather there will just be the Bible verses, this is to get you searching in God's word for yourself!

We believe in the total depravity of man- totally unable to redeem or undo the power that sin over himself. We believe that God, because of His love towards His creature, sent His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to this very world 2000 years ago. We believe that Jesus lived a perfect life and when He was 33 years old, He gave His life on a cross. During this excruciating death, the Lord Jesus paid the penalty of sin that stood out against us, by taking upon himself and becoming sin. This sacrifice was done to the eternal satisfaction of God. Because of this sacrifice God was able to move out in righteousness towards his sinful creature. And now, all those who trust upon the Lord Jesus and His work for them on the cross, are personally guaranteed to spend eternity praising Him in Heaven. However, the story did not end on the cross. We believe that three days, later Jesus rose again went to His own before acceding to Heaven. Jesus promised that He will come back to claim His Church for himself, this is called the Rapture. Those who do not believe are brought back to life to stand before the Great White Throne to face eternal judgement.
